Selecting the Right Options for Your Home

Did you know that the vast majority of New Home Owners pick out their finishes at the Design Center based on what the material looks like and the price? However, national research tells us the 65% of all new homeowners are unhappy with their home 1 year after purchase because of the performance of the finishes they selected. We want to make sure that you are happy with your home not just the day you move in but for the entire time you plan on living there.

Priorities List

Consider your new home, the way you would like to live in it, the time spent maintaining it and how you would like it to look 5 years from now. Then write down the things that are most important to you on the “Priority List”. This will help us determine the performance characteristics you require of the materials selected for your home.

Likes & Dislikes

Look around the house you are living in now and evaluate how the different products (flooring, countertops etc.) in your current home are performing. What products are performing well and what products could have performed better? List these on the “Likes & Dislikes List”.
